RESOLUTION NO. 2592
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
PROVIDING TRANSFER OF FUNDS FOR WATER AND SEWER
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the 1985 Budget provided for the use of Utility
Connection Charges, accounted for in Cumulative Reserve Fund No. 3665,
as a partial resource for 1985 Water and Sewer Capital Improvement
projects, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the 1985 Water and Sewer
Capital Improvement Program listing as required by Ordinance No. 3665;
said list attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof as
if fully set forth, and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to provide for transfer of said
funds from Cumulative Reserve No. 3665 (Utility Connection Charges)
to the Water and Sewer Construction Fund, and such transfer being
necessary and in the public interest and for the public benefit,
NOT THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : The Director of Finance is hereby authorized
and directed to make the following transfer:

Replace 24" South CBD sewer in Shattuck Avenue South
alignment from Tobin Avenue South to South Second
Street through High School. Coordinate with upcoming

East Bennydale Interceptor:
New 12" sanitary sewer from NE 27th STreet to Azalea
Lane pump station (in conjunction with Aberdeen Avenue

Duvall Avenue NE Sewer Extension (or North First Street
Sewer Replacement CBD-N):
Extend 8" sewers to eliminate Eastwood Park pump station
(eliminate inadequate pump station by gravity flow to

Renton Avenue Sewer Extension:
Rebuild existing Tobin Avenue and Victoria Place sewer
and Rainier Avenue South crossing (in conjunction with
WSDOT Rainier Avenue South overlay). 50,000

Phase I CBD-SE:
Replace existing 811, 1011, and 12" sewers in Shattuck
Avenue South from South Fourth Street to South Seventh
