RESOLUTION NO. 2612
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
DESIGNATING AN OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER FOR PUBLICATION
OF LEGAL NOTICES FOR THE CITY OF RENTON
WHEREAS SB3800 requires designation of an official
newspaper -for publication of legal notices or ordinances as
required by statute, and
WHEREAS the Daily Record Chronicle is the most convenient
paper for the publication of such notices due to publication cutoff
dates, ease of reference by local citizens and the larger type used
by that paper than other papers, and
WHEREAS the cost of all items to be published would be
higher with the possible exception of the Wednesday South Seattle
Times, but the use of that paper would severely limit publication
cutoff, now therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION Ij The above recitals are found to be true and
correct.
SECTION. II: � he Daily Record Chronicle is designated as
the official newspaper for publication of legal notices for the
City of Renton.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 5th day of August, 1985.
