HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2622 CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 2622 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR TRANSFER OF FUNDS FOR WATER AND SEWER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS. WHEREAS, Water and Sewer Utility Connection Charge revenues, accounted for in Cumulative Reserve Fund No. 3665, are to be used as a resource for Water and Sewer Capital Improvement Projects, and WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the 1985 Water and Sewer Capital Improvement Program as required by Ordinance #3665; list attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof as if fully set forth, and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3949 did appropriate $134,000 to said Cumulative Reserve, and the total amount now available is $374,000, and WHEREAS, it is now necessary to provide for the transfer of $374 ,000 from Cumulative Reserve Fund #3665 to the Water and Sewer Construction Fund, and such transfer being necessary and in the public interest and for the public benefit , NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section I : The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to make the following transfers: Cumulative Reserve Fund #3665 - decrease Ending Fund Balance Appropriation and increase Operating Transfers-Out Appropriation: From: a/c 128/000/00. 508 .00.00.00 (Ending Fund Balance) . . . . . . $240,000 Unto: a/c 128/000/15. 597.38. 55.21 (Operating Transfers-Out) . . $240,000 Transfer from Cumulative Reserve Fund #3665 (Fund #128) to Water and Sewer Construction (Fund #421) : From: a/c 128/000/15. 597.38.55.21 (Operating Transfers-Out) . . $374 ,000 (Expend - Cash Transfer) Unto: a/c 421/000/397.00.00.28 (Operating Transfers-In) . . . . . . $374 ,000 ( Increase Revenue Estimate; Revenue Received - Cash Transfer) Unto: a/c 421/000/15. 596. 38.65.15 (Water System Improvements/Major - Increase Appropriation . . . . . . . . . . . . $374 ,000 -1- CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON W RESOLUTION NO. 2622 - Continued PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 14th day of October, 1985.
