RESOLUTION NO . 2539
A RESOLTUION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
ADOPTING THE 19-84 COMPREHENSIVE PARKS AND
RECREATION PLAN
WHEREAS the . City Council was presented the 1984 Comprehensive
Parks and Recreation Plan, and
WHEREAS public meetings were held on September 20 , 1983
and April 10 , 1984 to consider additional public comment ; and .
WHEREAS said Plan was discussed at the meeting of the
Committee of the. Whole of the Council on April 12 , 1984, and
WHEREAS the Plan is in harmony with the intent of the
City' s Comprehensive Plan, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The above facts and recitals are found to be
true and correct .
SECTION II : The 1984 Comprehensive Parks and Recreation
Plan is hereby adopted for the City of Renton.
SECTION III : A Captial Improvement Program is hereby
adopted for the Parks and Recreation Department .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 23rd day of April , 1984.
