RESOLUTION NO. 2554
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
REQUIRING REIMBURSEMENT FOR OVER CHARGES FOR
CABLE TV FOR COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS
WHEREAS the City of Renton has granted a cable television
franchise to Group W, and
WHEREAS, as part of that franchise, the City is to approve
the rates charged by Group W, and
WHEREAS Group W increased the amount charged to commercial
subscribers without prior approval of the Renton City Council ,
Now, therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The above recitals are found to be true and correct.
SECTION TI : Group W shall reimburse its commercial subscribers
for any amount charged in excess of the rate approved by the
Renton City Council and not charge the higher commercial rate
unless and until that rate is approved by the Renton City Council .
