RESOLUTION NO. ,62
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
RECOMMENDING FULL FUNDING OF THE CITY FIREMEN'S
PENSION SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, until 1981, funding of the old City Firemen's Pension System
was not adequate to provide for future benefits of system members, and, since 1981,
the system has been funded according to the City's actuarial recommendations, NOW
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : The City shall continue to fully fund the old Firemen's
Pension System in accordance with recommendations from the City's actuary.
