RESOLUTION NO. 2518
A RESOLTUION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2332
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Renton has heretofore
adopted. Resolution No. 2332 covering policies regarding wage differentials
and other fringe benefits pertaining to certain positions in the Renton
Police Department not covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement;
and
WHEREAS it is necessary and advisable to also allow educational
benefits for those positions not covered by the Collective Bargaining
Agreement , now therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The above recitals are found to be true and correct.
SECTION II : In addition to those benefits made available to
officers of the Renton Police Department not covered by the Collective
Bargaining Agreement , those officers shall likewise be provided the
same educational allowance benefits as those negotiated with the
Renton Police Officers Guild.
