RESOLUTION NO . 2448
WHEREAS the Cite of Renton is desirous in making
improvements to its Earli.ngton Park , also designated under the
King County Forward Thrust Program as Renton Neighborhood Park
#2 , and
WHEREAS there are monies available .for such purposes under
the King County Forward Thrust Program, and
WHEREAS King County has indicated its willingness to make
such monies available to the City of Renton , and the City is willing
to accept such monies from the County , NOW , THEREFORE ,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS :
1. The City of Renton be and hereby is authorized to
accept monies :from King County under the auspices
of the King County Forward Thrust Program.
2 . The monies shall be used by the City solely for the
purchase of additional property for , or improvements
to , Earlington Park also known as Renton Neighborhood
Park #2.
3. The City in accepting and using such monies shall
adhere to all rules and regulations prescribed in
King County Resolution No. 34571 .
