HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2473 CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO . 2473 WHEREAS the City of Seattle owns a 1950 Kenworth Pumper Fire Truck which it is willing to sell, and WHEREAS the City of Renton Fire Department wishes to test said pumper for sixty (60) days with an option to purchase thereafter, and WHEREAS the City of Seattle wishes to have a Hold Harmless Agreement to protect it from any liability while the pumper is under the control of the City of Renton, and WHEREAS it would be to the benefit of the City of Renton to test the truck, now therefore THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, IASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS : SECTION I : The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects . SECTION II : The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a Hold Harmless Agreement with the City of Seattle for use by the City of Renton of the 1950 Kenworth Pumper Fire Truck , such Hold Harmless Agreement to cover the 60 days within which the City of Renton shall have possession of the pumper.
