RESOLUTION NO . 2480
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
SETTING PUBLIC HEARING DATE (VAC 6-82 - CHRISTOPHERSON)
V-11-7REAS a Petition has been filed with the City Clerk
of the City of Renton on or about September 8 , 1982 , pursuant to
the requirements of RCW 35 . 79 , petitioning; for the vacation of
a portion of a certain street , as hereinafter more particularly
described , and said petition having been signed by the owners of
more than two-thirds (2/3) of the property abutting upon a portion
of said street sought to be vacated, and same being described
as follows :
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
herein as if fully set forth
(Portion of Hardie Avenue N.W. (south of N.W.
5th St . )
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : That the 22nd day of November , 1982 , at
the hour of 8 :00 P .M. at the City Council Chambers in the Municipal
Building , Renton , King County , Washington, be and is hereby fixed
as the time and place when the aforesaid Petition for vacating the
aforesaid portion of street shall be heard and determined, which
said hearing date is not more than sixty days nor less than twenty
days from the date of passage of this Resolution.
SECTION II : The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to give notice of said time and hearing as provided by
RCW 35 . 79 . 020 and any and/or all persons interested therein or
objecting to said vacation may then appear and be heard thereon, or
they may file their written objections thereto with the City Clerk
at or prior to the time of hearing on said vacation.

provided in RC1, 35 . 79 . 030 as to whether an appraisal shall P ppr s a 1 be secure
to determine the fair market value of the property sought to be

vacated as provided for in. Ordinance No . 3635 and the amount of
compensation to be paid by the Petitioner-Owners to the City for
such vacation but which said amount shall not exceed one-half (1/2)
of the appraised value of the area to be vacated.
The City likewise reserves the right to retain an
easement for public utility and related purposes .

EXHIBIT "A"
All that portion of Hardie Avenue N.W. ( formerly known as
91st Avenue S . an6 also as Ohio Avenue ) as dedicated on the plat
of Latimer' s Lake Park Addition as recorded in Volume 18 of plats ,
page 63 , records of King County, Washington;
Lying between Block 18 and Block 21 of said plat,
and Lying southerly of a straight line extending from the - northeast
corner of lot 16 of said Block 18 to the northwest corner of lot 1
of said Block 21,
and Lying northerly of a line described as follows : Beginning at the
southeast corner of lot 14 of said Block 18 ; thence easterly along
the easterly extension of the south line of said lot 14 to the
centerline of said Hardie Avenue N.W. ( formerly known as 91st Ave. S.
and also as Ohio Ave . ) ; thence northerly along said centerline to
its intersection with the westerly extension of the south line of
.lot 3 of said Block 21 thence easterly along said westerly extension
to the southwest corner of said lot 3 of Block 21 and the terminus of
said line .
Situate in the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 7 ,
ownship 23 :worth , Range 5 East , W .M. , in King County , Washington .
