CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION N0. - 2403 '
WHEREAS the City of Renton , on its own initiative , or following
petition by more than one-half ( 1/2) of adjoining property owners ,
pursuant to the requirement of RCW 35 .79 wishes to vacate a portion
of a certain walkway as hereinafter more particularly described ,
to-wit :
A 10 feet wlde walkway in Block 2 of� Tiffany Park Dtvislon No.2
according to the plat thereof as recorded in Volume 92 of plats ,
pages 34 to 36 , records of Ktng County, Plashington; ( ying between
lot 60 and fot 61 , and lying between lot 17 and lot 15 and lot 16
in said blocic 2 .
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to fix a date for public hearing
thereon , NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUPICIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON , DO RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : That the 13th day of July, 1981 , at the hour of
8 : 00 P .M. at the City Council Chambers in the Plunicipal Building ,
Renton , King County , Washington , be and is hereby fixed as the time
and place for hearing on the vacation of the aforedescribed walkway
which said hearing date is not more than sixty (60) days nor less
than twenty ( ?_0) days from the date of passage of this Resolution .
SECTION II : The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to give notice of said time and hearing as provided by RCW 35 .79 and
any and/or all persons interested therein or objecting to said
vacation may then appear and be heard thereon , or they may file
their written objections thereto with the City Clerk at or prior to
the time of hearing on said vacation .
SECTION III : The City Council may determine at or prior to
said hearing whether an appraisal shall be secured to determine the
fair market value of the property sought to be vacated as provided
for in Ordinance No . 234Q ; the City likewise reserves the right to

retain an easement for public utility and other public purposes over i
any of the portion determined to be vacated .
