The Standing Committee on Regional Energy has recommended to our Executive Board the funding of this project . The Standing Committee on Regional Energy (SCORE) includes representatives from many local jurisdictions and the state . Seattle City Light , Tacoma City Light , Snohomish County Public utility District No. 1, and Puget Sound Power and Light Company all have representatives on SCORE and were instrumental in for development of this application. Letters of support this project have been received from the four utilities represented on the Standing within1theeon regiong1Onal Energy The letterfrom 12 smaller utilities are attached. We support the PSCOG in applying for and receiving funds from the Bonneville Power Administration to implement this very necessary and worthwhile program. It is very important for local governments to know what conservation and small scale renewable resource projects they may be able to implement and to have a process describing methods for their implementation. Thank you once again. We look forward to working with you in the program. Very truly yours, Mayor or Chairman of the Council
