CITY OF RENTON
RESOLUTION NO. 2419
EXTRACT FROM THE MINUTES OF A REGULAR
MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON HELD ON SEPTEMBER 21 , 1981 .
Resolution No . 2419 of the City of Renton authorizes'.
amendment to prior Resolution accepting the Grant Offer of the
United States of America through the Federal Aviation Administratio
under Airport Development Aid Program Project 5-53-0055-03 in
the development of Renton Municipal Airport ; and
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF '
THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The City by Resolution of September 17 , 1979
accepted the Grant Offer of the United States Government for the
above referenced project .
SECTION II : There has been a cost overrun on this projec
in the amount of $20 , 597 . 38 for the FAA' s portion of this project
In order for the FAA to pay such funds an amendment to th(.
City ' s initial legislation accepting the Grant Offer must be
passed by the Renton City Council .
SECTION III : The Mayor of the City of Renton is hereby
authorized and directed to sign an amendment to the Acceptance of
said Grant Offer on behalf of the City of Renton and the City
Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest the signature
of the Mayor and to impress the official seal of the City of
Renton on the aforesaid Amendment .
