RESOLUTION NO, 2320
WHEREAS the State. Interlocal Cooperative Act, RCW 39_.34
permits contracting and agreements between municipalities, and
WHEREAS the City of Renton finds that such an agreement by
and between the City of Renton, King County, certain incorporated
municipal jurisdictions and an Indian Tribe where the expenditure
of certain law and justice planning monies is to the benefit of
the City of Renton, and
WHEREAS RCW ,39 . 34 'requires the legislative body of a_.
municipality to authorize. the signature of an agreement, NOW
THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON , DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The above findings and recitals are found to
be true and correct in all respects ,
SECTION "II: The Interlocal Agreement between the City of
Renton, King County, designated Indian Tribe and the incorporated
municipal jurisdictions within King County, with the exception of
Seattle, is hereby authorized and accepted by the City and the Mayor
and the City Clerk are authorized to sign the Agreement on behalf
of the City.
