RESOLUTION NO. 2370
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING MORATORIUM ON LARD
FILL WITHIN A DESCRIBED AREA
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Renton by Resolution No.
2349 passed July 7 , 19801, did declare a moratorium for the fill of certain
lands within the City of Renton, and
WHEREAS the City Council advises that the Resolution for that
moratorium still exists , but that the information required and work to be
done should be completed within sixty days , and
WHEREAS irreparable harm would be done unless said moratorium
was extended for 60 days , NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The above recitals are found to be true and correct .
SECTION II : The moratorium for land fill in the area bounded by
SW 30th , SW 16th, SR 167 and the Burlington Northern Railroad Tracts
as previously passed by the City of Renton is hereby extended for an
additional 60 days from passage of this Resolution.
