HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 3398 e CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 3398 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON CHANGING THE ZONING .CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM GENERAL CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT (GS-1) TO SURBURBAN RESIDENCE NO. 1 (SR-1) R-292-J2. (.ARTHUR GUSTAFSON) WHEREAS under Chapter 7, Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton", as amended; and the maps and reports adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as General Classification District (GS-1); and WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property has been filed with the Planning Department on or about January 23, 1979, which petition was duly referred to the Hearing Examiner for investigation, study and public hearing, and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about May 15, 1979, and said matter having been duly considered by the Hearing Examiner and said zoning request being in conformity with the City's Comprehensive Plan, as amended, and the City Council having.duly considered all matters relevant thereto, and all parties having been heard appearing in support thereof or in.opposition thereto, NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The following described property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned to Surburban Residence No. 1 (SR-1) as hereinbelow specified; subject to the findings, conclusions and decision dated June 14, 1979; the Planning Director is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance, as amended, to evidence said rezoning, to-wit: See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as. if fully set forth herein. (Said property.being located at west side of Union Avenue N.E. approximately 200 feet south of N.E. 10th Street) AND SUBJECT FURTHER to that certain Declaration of Restrictive Covenants executed by.Petitioner-owners on or about December 28, 1979 and recorded in the office of the Director of Records and Elections, Receiving No.800107045ttd which said Covenants hereby incorporated and made a part hereof as if fully set forth. SECTION 11: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, approval and five days after its publication. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, this 28t1day of January, 1980. Delores A. FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LINE BEGINNING 649 FEET NORTH OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE. NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 9; THENCE WEST 300 FEET; THENCE NORTH 103 FEET; THENCE WEST 350 FEET MORE OR LESS TO THE WEST LINE OF THE NE 1/4 OF THE SE 1/4 OF THE NE 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 9 AND TERMINUS OF SAID LINE.
