ORDINANCE N0. 34 , _ _
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
PROVIDING FOR APPROPRIATION AND TRANSFER OF FUNDS
WHEREAS the City of Renton, Washington, has heretofore
received unanticipated revenues in excess of estimated revenues for
the calendar year 1980 , and
WHEREAS it is necessary and advisable to appropriate and
transfer from such unanticipated revenue to fund a nine month training
course at Northwestern University Traffic Institute for one Police
Officer into the below mentioned fund and such appropriation and
transfer being necessary and in the public interest and for the public
benefit , NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON , DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and
directed to provide for the following appropriation and transfer :
FROM: Unanticipated Revenue/Federal Grant
(Washington Traffic Safety Commission) $12, 000 . 00
UNTO : Current Fund/Police Patrol Division
a/c 000/000/08 . 521 . 22. 33 . 38
(Traffic Safety Grant 315-2A) $12 ,000 . 00
SECITON II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage , approval and five days after its publication.
