ORDINANCE NO. 3586
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING A PORTION OF SECTION 7-904 OF TITLE
VTI (FIRE REGULATIONS), OF ORDINANCE NO , 1628
ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF .RENTON, WASHINGTON" RELATING TO METHOD
OF APPEAL OF 'ADMINISTRAT.IVE DETERMINATION UNDER
RENTON FIRE CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : Existing Section 7904 of Title VII (_Fire
Regulations) of Ordinance No . 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordingnces
of the City of Renton, Washington, is hereby amended to read as
follows :
Section 7-904, as amended: APPLICATION; APPEAL:
Whenever the Chief of the Fire Department shall disapprove an appli-
cation or refuse to grant the permit applied for, or when it is claimed
that the provisions of the Code do not apply or that the true intent
and meaning of the Code have been misconstrued or wrongly interpreted,
such applicant may appeal from such decision to the Land *Use hearing
Examiner of the City of Renton within fourteen (_14)_ days from, the
date of such decision and as provided by the ordinances of the City
of Renton. Any such appeal shall be in writing, specifying the
grounds upon which the appeal is taken, and shall be considered by
the Land Use Hearing Examiner as an appeal from an administrative
decision of the City' s Land Use Regulation Codes under Section 4-30.10
(A) (8) of the City Code.,
SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be effective. upon its
passage, approval and thirty (30) days after its publication,
