ORDINANCE NO. 3644
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING A PORTION OF SECTION 9-1108 OF TITLE
I'K (PUBLIC WAYS AND PROPERTY) OF ORDINANCE NO.
1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO RIGHTS-OF-
1JAY WIDTHS AND RADII AND .STREET RADII
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : Existing subsection 7 (k) of Section 9-1108.
of Title IX (Public Ways and Property) of Ordinance No . 1628 entitled
"Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended
to read as follows :
Section 9-1108 7 (k) , as amended : Cul-de-Sacs . Cul-de-
sacs are permitted provided they do not exceed five hundred feet (500 ' )
in length. Residential cul-de-sacs shall not have a right-of-way
width or right-of-way radius of less than 55 feet and shall provide
a minimum street radius of 45 feet . Industrial cul-de-sacs shall not
have a width less than sixty feet nor a right-of-way radius less than
75 feet .
SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage , approval and thirty days after publication.
