AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING SECTION 5-112 and 5-209 OF TITLE
V (BUSINESS REGULATIONS) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628
ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO APPLICATIONS AND
RETURNS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: Existing Section 5-112 of Title V (Business
Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances
of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows :
Section 5-112, as amended: APPLICATION AND RETURNS - PUBLIC
RECORD: Returns made to the Director of Finance pursuant to this
Chapter shall be public information and subject to inspection by all
persons except to the extent those records may be deemed to be private
or would result in unfair competitive disadvantage to such a taxpayer
if disclosed as more particularly defined in Title 42 . 17 RCW.
SECTION II : Existing Section 5-209 of Title V (Business
Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances
of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows :
Section 5-209 , as amended: APPLICATION AND RETURNS - PUBLIC,
RECORD: Returns made to the Director of Finance pursuant to this
chapter shall be public information and subject to inspection by all
persons except to the extent those records may be deemed to be private
or would result in unfair competitive disadvantage to such a taxpayer
if disclosed as more particularly defined in Title 42. 17 RCW.
SECTION III : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage and approval and thirty days after publication.
