AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING A PORTION OF CYAPTER 19 OF TITLE V
(BUSINESS REGULATIONS) OF ORDINANCE NO . 1628
ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDI14ANCES OF THE
CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO TAXICABS
T17E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHIINGTON, DO
CRDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : Existing Section 5-1901 , 5-1902 , 5-1904,
5-1905 , 5-1906 , 5-1908 , 5-1909 , 5-1910 , 5-1911 , 5-1913 , 5-1914,
5-1915 , 5-1916 , 5-1917 , 5-1918 , 5-1919 , 5-1920 , 5-1922 , 5-1923 ,
5-1924, 5-1925 , 5-1928 , 5-1929 , 5-1930 , 5-1932 , 5-1933 , 5-1934,
5-1935 , 5-1936 , 5-1937 , 5-.1938 , 5-1939 , 5-1940 , 5-1941 , 5-1942 ,
5-1943 , 5-1944 , 5-1945 , 5-1946 , 5-1948 and 5-1949 of Title V
(Business Regulations) of Ordinance No . 1628 entitled "Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Renton" are herebly repealed in
their entirety .
SECTIO-C II : A neer section is hereby added to Chapter
19 of Title V (Business Regulations) of Ordinance No . 1628 entitled
"Code of General Ordinances of. the City of Renton" as follows :
COUNTY LICENSE REQt;IRED : Any "for-hire" vehicles
operating within the City limits of the City of Renton , whether
for pick up or delivery or otherwise , shall bear and display j
a King County taxicab license or other similar license required by
King County for the operation of "for-hire" vehicles .
SECTION III : This Ordinance shall be effective upon
its passage , approval and thirty days after its publication .
