AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
N VACATING A PORTION OF GEN SENG AVENUE SOUTH
A OF N.E . 36TH STREET
WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a portion of
00 Gen Seng Avenue south of N.E. 36th Street , Renton- King County,
Washington, was duly filed with the City Clerk on or about May 18 ,
1983, and said petition having been signed by the owners representing
more than two-thirds of the property abutting upon such street sought
to be vacated; and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No . 2510 passed
and approved on June 6 , 1983 , and after due investigation, did fix
and determine the 11th day of July, 1983 at the hour of 8 :00 P.M.
in the City Council Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time
and place for a public hearing thereon, and the City Clerk having
given due notice of the hearing in the manner provided by law, and
all persons having been heard appearing in favor or in opposition
thereto ; and the City Council having considered all information and
arguments presented to it , and
WHEREAS the Board of Public Works of the City of Renton
having duly considered said petition for said vacation, and having
found same to be in the public interest and for the public benefit ,
and no injury or damage to any person or properties will result from
such vacation;
NOW, THEREFORE , THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :

SECTION I : The following described portion of street,
to-wit :
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if fully set forth herein.
BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY VACATED.
SECTION II : The City Council hereby elects to charge
a fee of $ 2,300. 00 to Petitioner-Owners , said amount not exceeding
one-half (1/2) of the appraisal of the right-of-way interest herein
vacated, and such charge being reasonable and proper , which amount
was paid on Jan 18 & 23 1984 , receipt of which is acknowledged by
the City of Renton.
SECTION III : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and five days after its publication.
A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with
the Office of Records and Elections , and as otherwise provided by law.

EXHIBIT "A"
STREET VACATION 1-83 - PORTION OF GEN SENG AVENUE
All that portion of Gen Seng Avenue, having a width of 50 feet, lying
easterly of the easterly right-of-way line of Jones Avenue NE, also lying
easterly of the east lines of Lots 66, 67 and 68 and lying westerly of the
westerly lines of Lots 70 and 73 and lying northerly of the westerly
extension of the south line of Lot 73 within the plat of C. D. Hillman's
Lake Washington Garden of Eden Division No. 1, as recorded in Volume 11
of plats, paae 84, records of King County, Washington.
As situated within the southeast quarter of Section 32, Township 24
North, Range 5 East, W. M. , City of Renton, Washington.
