ORDINANCE N0. 3808
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING SUBSECTION (A) OF SECTION 1-510 OF
TITLE I (ADMINISTRATIVE) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628
ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO THE DUTIES OF .THE
PRESIDING OFFICER
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : Existing subsection (A) of Section 1-510
of Title I (Administrative) of Ordinance No . 1628 entitled "Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read
as follows :
Section 1-510 (A) , as amended: Powers and Duties of Presiding
Officer. The Mayor shall have a vote only in the case of a tie in the
votes of the Council persons with respect to matters other than the
passage of any ordinance, grant or revocation of franchise or license,
or any resolution for the payment of any money.
SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and thirty days after publication.
