ORDINANCE NO. 3828
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
INSTITUTING THE OPTIONAL BOAT TAX AND PROVIDING
FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : A person liable for the tax imposed by King
County Ordinance 6595 , as amended, who fails or refuses to pay the tax
and display proper evidence of compliance with the provisions of that
ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up
to fifty-five dollars ($55 . 00) . A person, other than an Owner, who
operated a vessel, the use of. which is subject .to taxation under King
County Ordinance 6595, as amended, who does not displ-4y proper evidence
of compliance with the provisions of that ordinance shall be
guilty

of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to fifty-five dollars
($55 . 00) . Any fines shall be in addition to the tax required.
SECTION II : This ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and thirty (30) days after publication.
