ORDINANCE NO. 3835
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3815 (APPROVING AND CONFIRM-
ING THE ASSESSMENTS AND ASSESSMENT ROLL OF LOCAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 314) AMENDING ASSESSMENTS
FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNERS
WHEREAS the City of Renton did adopt. Ordinance No. 3815
approving and confirming the Local Improvement District assessment
roll for 314, and
WHEREAS the City of Renton has determined that certain
assessments therein should be modified to correct errors , inconsisten-
cies or inequities in the assessment roll, now therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : Section I of Ordinance No. 3815 , dated June 11,
1984, is amended to read as follows :
Section I : That the assessments and assessment roll of
Local Improvement District No. 314 which has been created and
established for the purpose of paying the cost of construction and
installation of certain water mains , hydrants , and appurtenances
thereto , and all as more particularly described in Ordinance No. 3559 ,
further reference hereby had thereto, and all in accordance with
said Ordinance , be and the same is hereby in all things approved
and confirmed, so that the total amount of the assessments and
assessment roll of said Local Improvement District is in the sum
of $6 , 956 ,510. 30.

SECTION II : Section II of Ordinance No. 3815 dated June 11 ,
1984 is amended to read as follows :
Section II : That each of the lots , tracts , parcels of
land and other property shown upon said assessment roll is hereby
determined and declared to be specially benefited by said improvement
in at least the amount charged against the same, and the assessments
appearing against the same are in proportion to the several assess-
ments appearing upon said roll. There is hereby levied and assessed
against each lot , tract or parcel of land, or other property appearing
upon said roll, the amount finally charged against the same thereon ,
except the following:
Parcel 16 shall be assessed the amount of $16 ,857 . 84
Parcel 17 shall be assessed the amount of $21,420. 78
Parcel 46 shall be assessed the amount of $88,214. 04
Parcel 12 shall be assessed the amount of $182 ,500. 00.
To the extent that these assessments do not cover the entire cost
of the Local Improvement District, the City of Renton shall contribute
such money as is necessary to fully fund the Local Improvement
District. Such funding may take the form of decreasing the payment
to the City for its work on this project or the form of paying a
portion or portions of LID liens for parties whose liens have been
adjusted.
SECTION III : All other parts of Ordinance No. 3815 shall
remain in full force and effect.

SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage , approval and five days after publication.
