CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
ORDINANCE NO. 3842
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING PORTIONS OF TITLE V (BUSINESS REGULATIONS)
OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO -POLICE
INVESTIGATION OF BUSINESS LICENSE APPLICATIONS .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : Existing Section 5-104 (A) 2 , of Ordinance No .
1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is
hereby amended to read as follows :
Section 5-104 (A) 2 . , as amended : Application. Any business
enterprise desiring a locksmith special endorsement shall make written
application therefor to the Finance Director upon a form to be ~
furnished by the Finance Director for that purpose. Such application
shall state the name or names , and residence address or addresses
of the business enterprise for whom a license is sought, and the
address at which, or from which the holder of such special endorsement
will carry on said business .
SECTION II : Existing Section 5-104 (B) 6 of Ordinance No.
1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is
hereby repealed in its entirety.
SECTION III : Existing Section 5-104 (C) 2 . (b) of Ordinance
No . 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton"
is hereby amended to read as follows :

Section 5-104' (C) 2, (b) , as amended: Application for a
pawnbroker' s special endorsement shall be in writing, filed with the
Finance Director on a form furnished by the City and shall be
accompanied by the required fee.
SECTION IV: Existing Section 5-104. 0). 3 of Ordinance No .
1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Ren ton" is
hereby amended to read as follows :
Section 5-104 (D) 3 , as amended : Application for Special
Endorsement : Prior to the issuance of such special endorsement,
the applicant, or someone on his behalf shall make written application
to the Finance Director for a secondhand dealer ' s special endorsement
on such forms as may be furnished by the City and such application shall
be accompanied by the required license fee.
SECTION V: Existing Section 5-104 (E) 4. (.f) , -5 ; 6 , 7 and 9
of Ordinance No . 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City
of Renton" are hereby repealed in their entirety.
SECTION VI : This Ordinance shall be effective after its
passage and approval and thirty (30) days after publication.
