ORDINANCE NO. 3876
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING CHAPTER 30 , TITLE IV (BUILDING REGULATIONS)
OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" CHANGING THE TITLE
THEREOF TO HEARING EXAMINER
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Title to Chapter 30 , Title IV (Building
Regulations ) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances
of the City of Renton shall be changed to Hearing Examiner.
SECTION II: Existing Section 4-3001 of Title IV (Building
Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances
of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 4-3001, as amended: TITLE: This Ordinance shall be
hereinafter known as "Hearing Examiner Ordinance" or "Hearing Examiner" ,
may be cited as such, will be hereinafter referred to as "this
Ordinance" and same shall be and constitute Chapter 30, Title IV
(Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 known as the "Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Renton."
SECTION III: Existing Section 4-3003 of title IV (Building
Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances
of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 4-3003 , as amended: CREATION OF HEARING EXAMINER:
The office of the Hearing Examiner, hereinafter referred to as
Examiner, is hereby created. The Examiner shall interpret, review and
implement land use regulations as provided in this Ordinance and other
ordinances. The term Examiner shall likewise include the Examiner
Pro Tem.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and thirty days after publication.
