WHEREAS the State, Interlocal Cooperative Act , R. C.W.
Chapter 39 . 34, permits contracting and agreement between
municipalities, and
WHEREAS the City of Renton finds that such an agreement
by and between the City and King County for the expenditures of
certain HUD monies for neighborhood strategy areas is to the
benefit of the City of Renton, and
WHEREAS Chapter 39 . 34 requires the legislative body of
a municipality to authorize the signature of an agreement,. NOW
THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS :
SECTION IThe above findings and recitals are found
to be true and correct in all respects .
SEECTION II : The Interlocal Agreement between King County
and the City of Renton is hereby authorized and accepted by the
City,and the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized to 'sign the
Agreement on behalf of the City.
