Resolution No. 2259 (VAC 6-79)
WHEREAS a Petition has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Renton on or about March 13, 1979, pursuant to the requirements of ,RCW 35.79,
petitioning for the vacation of a portion of a certain right-of-way, as here-
inafter more particularly described, and said petition having been signed by the
owners of rrore than two-thirds of -the property abutting upon a portion of said
right-of-way sought to be vacated, and same being described as follows:
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set
forth herein.
(Right-of-Way West of Springbrook-Talbot Rd.', South of So. 37th St.

• RESOLVE AS FCLLl.WS:
SECTION I: That the 14th of May', 1979, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. at
the City Council Chambers in the Minicipal .Building, Renton, King County,
Washington, be and is hereby fixed asthe time,and place when the aforesaid
Petition for vacating the aforesaid portion of right-of-way shall be heard and
determined, which said hearing date is not rrbre than sixty nor less than twenty
days from the date of passage of this Resolution.
SECTION II: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give
notice of said time and hearing as provided by•RCW 35.79.020 and any and/or all
persons interested therein or objecting to said vacation may then appear and be
heard thereon, or they xray file their written objections thereto with the City
Clerk at or prior to the- time of hearing on said vacation.
SECTION III : The City Council shall determine, as provided in RCVV
35.79.030 as to whether an appraisal shall be secured to determine the fair
market value of the property sought to be vacated as provided for in Ordinance
No. 2349 and the amount of compensation to be paid by the Petitioner-Owners to
the City for such vacation but which said amount shall not exceed one-half of
the appraised value of the area to be vacated.
The City likewise reserves the right to retain an easement for public

utility and related purposes.

Commencing at the northeast corner of the East Valley Medical Park Short
Plat as recorded under Auditor' s File No. 7808151009, thence S 6°00'20" W.
173.015 feet to the true point of beginning, thence N. 84°17'00" W. 160.252
feet, thence on a curve to the left with a radius of 265 feet through a
central angle of 14°52 '43" a distance of 68.815 feet, to a point of reverse
curvature to the right with a radius of 455 feet through a central angle of
14°52 '43" a distance of 118. 155 feet, thence S 5°43'00" W. 50 feet, thence in
a northeasterly direction on a curve to the left with a radius of 510 feet
through a central angle of 14°52 '43" a distance of 131 . 139 feet to a point of
reverse curvature to the right with a radius of 215 feet through a central
