RESOLUTION NO. 2274
WHEREAS the State Interlocal Cooperative Act , R.C.W.
Chapter 39 .34 , permits contracting and agreements between municipalities ,
and
WHEREAS the City of Renton finds that such an agreement by and
between the City of Renton and Public Hospital District No. 1 of King
County (Valley General Hospital) for the expenditure of certain monies
for medical servicesIS -to the benefit of the City of Renton, and
WHEREAS Chapter 39 . 34 requires the legislative bodyof
a municipality to authorize the signature of an agreement, NOW
THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The above findings and recitals are found
to be true and correct in all respects . "
SECTION II : The Interlocal Agreement between Ptiibli . .Hospital
Di-trict No . 1 of King County ,(Valley General Hospital) and the City
o f Renton is hereby authorized and accepted by the City ,- and the Mayor
and the City Clerk are authorized to --s.ign the Agreement on behalf of the
City .
