HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2287 1 • Fp l • I .7 J CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 2287 WHEREAS the City wishes to declare the structure located at 1025 South 3rd Street' a historic building, which building was built in the year 1898 as. _a power sub-station by the Snoqualmie Falls Power Company; and WHEREAS after due consideration the City considers preservation and restoration of such buildings to be in the best . interest of .the citizens of the City of Renton, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVEb .:By CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS : SECTION I.: Subject building, previously a power sub- station, located on Lets 18 , 19, Block 9, of. the Town of Renton, is hereinafter designated a "historic building`' and 'shall be considered as such when restoration takes place., and be subject to all the laws and regulations relating to such. "historic building" site, special reference being hereby made to Section 1Q4(j) , (Chapter 1) of the Uniform Building Code., 19.76 Edition_ PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 6th day of August, 1979 . .
