EXTRACT FROM THE MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
HELD ON SEPTEMBER 17, 1979
The following Resolution w s introduced by Councilman
Earl Clymer, read in full , co idered and adopted:
Resolution No . 2297 of the City of Renton, Accepting the
Grant Offer of the United States of America through the Federal
Aviation Administration in the maximum amount of $207 , 000 . 00 to be'
used under the Airport Development Aid Program Project 5-53-0055-03
in the development of Renton Municipal Airport ; and
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : That the City of Renton shall accept the Grant
Offer of the United States of America in the amount of $207 , 000 . 00
for the purpose of obtaining Federal Aid under Project No .
5-53-0055-03 in the development of the Renton Municipal Airport:
SECTION II : That the Mayor of the City of Renton is hereby
authorized and directed to sign the statement of Acceptance of said
Grant Offer (entitled Part II - Acceptance) on behalf of the City
of Renton, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
attest the signature of the Mayor and to impress the official seal
of the City of Renton on the aforesaid statement of Acceptance .
SECTION III : A true copy of the Grant Offer referred to herein
is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 17th day of September, 1979 .
