HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2299 'r CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 2299 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2283 OF THE CITY OF RENTON ESTABLISHING A NEW HEARING DATE AND NOTIFYING ALL PARTIES WHO MAY DESIRE TO OBJECT TO THE IMPROVEMENTS IN LOCAL IMIPROVE- MENT DISTRICT NO. 314 TO APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS AT A MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL WHICH HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 5 , 1979 . BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON , AS FOLLOWS : SECTION I : The City Council by Resolution No. 2283 has declared its intention to construct and install curbs , gutters , sidewalks , street lighting and all necessary appurtenances thereto in, the following described area of the City of Renton, to-wit: See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein SECTION II : The City Council of the City of Renton had previously established the date of October 15 , 1979 as the public hearing date for such. LID as required by statute. Since that time the City has determined that such date is not an appropriate date and that all information will not be ready for presentation at that time and that the date of November 5 , 1979 would be more advantageous . SECTION III : That all persons who may desire to object to the improvement herein described are hereby notified to appear and previously scheduled present such objections at a meeting of the City Council/to be held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall , Renton, Washington on October 15 , 1979 at 8: 00 P .M. which time has been rescheduled from October 15 ,. 1979 to November - 5 ; .1979 .which',time and place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvement and all objections thereto and for determining the method of payment for said improvement . The City Clerk shall give notice of said hearing and said proposed improvement as required by law. SECTION IV: Warren Gonnason, Public Works Director, or his duly authorized representative , is hereby directed to submit to the City Council , on or before the aforesaid hearing date , all data and information required by law to be submitted. The complete new construction of Southwest 19th Street from Raymond Avenue Southwest to the East Valley Road. The complete new construction of Southwest 27th Street from a point 200 feet East of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way to the East Valley Road. Included in the above improvements are em- ?*: bankment construction, paving, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, illumination and enclosed drainage systems. - . 2.
