RESOLUTION NO . 2218
WHEREAS the City of Renton has in its equipment rental
fund certain vehicles which are no longer useful for the City' s
needs and
WHEREAS it is in the best interest of the City and the
general public to dispose of said vehicles onthe most advantageous
basis available to the City, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The above facts and recitals are hereby found
to be true and correct in all respects . The Purchasing Controller
of the City of Renton is hereby authorized and directed to dispose
of the following described vehicles upon public bid call, to be
published as required by law, to-wit :
B-19 1968 Chevrolet Van, Serial No. GE168P147602
B-21 1969 Dodge Van, Serial No. 1987134607
B-22 1967 Chevrolet Van, Serial No . GE167P132950
C-35 1967 Chevrolet Pickup 1/2 Ton, Serial No . CS147Z145988
C-39 1967 Ford Pickup 3/4 Ton, Serial No. F25BRB13573
C-42 1968 Chevrolet Pickup 3/4 Ton-, Serial No. CS248Z161795
C-45 1968 Chevrolet Pickup 3/4 Ton, Serial No . CS248Z166178
C=48 1969 Datsun Pickup, Serial 1521086989
C-50 1969 Datsun Pickup, Serial, No .. L5,21087627
C-53 1969 Datsun Pickup, Serial No. L521087671
All of such vehicles are to be sold on a cash basis , without warranty
of any type, and all of said sale 'to be final and conclusive . The
City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waives any
irregularities in the form of the bid .
