CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO . 2092
WHEREAS the City of Renton, a municipal corporation, acting
as a non-Charter Code City under the laws andrs.tatutes of the State of
Washington has heretofore made application to the Federal Aviation
Administration for a grant of Federal funds for a project for development
within the boundaries of the Renton Municipal Airport which application
is dated February 1, 1977, and
WHEREAS the City. of Renton has now received a certain "Grant
Agreement" the date of offer thereof being February. 23 , 1977 , which Grant
is limited to the sum of Sixty Thousand Dollars ( $60 ,000 . 00) based on
ninety (9.00) per cent of all allowable project costs, and
WHEREAS the Cityis willing to accept said offer, NOW
THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The above recitals and findings are hereby found
to betrueand correct in all respects .
SECTION "II : The City of Renton hereby accepts. the "Grant
Agreement" of the. United States of America, Federal Aviation Administration,
in the maximum amount of Sixty Thousand ($60 ,000 . 00) Dollars for the
purpose of obtaining Federal Aid under Project No. 5-53-0055-02 in the
development within the Renton Municipal Airport..
SECTION III : The Mayor of the City of Renton is hereby
authorized and directed to sign the Statement of Acceptance of said
"Grant Offer" (entitled Part II - Acceptance) on behalf of the City
of Renton and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest
to the signature of. the Mayor and to impress the official seal of the
City of Renton on the aforesaid "Statement of Acceptance" .
SECTION IV: A true and correct copy of the "Grant Offer"
referred to herein is hereby attached and incorporated herein as if fully
set forth.

SECTION V : The City Attorney is further. authorized and
directed to execute that certain "Certificate. of Sponsor' s. Attorney'!
PASSED BY THE. CITY. COUNCIL this 28th day of February, 197.7 .'
