RESOLUTION NO. . 2123
WHEREAS a Petition has been filed with the. City Clerk
of the City. of Renton on or about July 6 , 1977 „ pursuant tothe
requirements. of RCW 35.79 , petitioning for the vacation of a portion'
of a certain street , as hereinafter more particularly described,
and said petition having been signed by the.. owners of more than
two-thirds ofthe property abutting upon a portion of said street
sought to bevacated, and same being described as follows:
All that portion of N. 33rd Place, having a width of
50 feet., lying southerly of the southline, of Block 3
and northerly of the north line of. Block 4 C. , D.
Hillmans Lake Washington Garden of Eden Addition No. , ,
1 as recorded in Volume x'13 of plats, `page 63, records'
of King County, Washington; and also lying westerly
of the westerly Right-of-Way margin, of !Burnett ,Ave. N.
extended, and easterly of the east line of Lot 4,
Block 4, said plat, extended from the NE corner of
Lot 4, northerly tothe south ;line ofd Lot 6 , Block 3, ,
C. D. Hillmans Lake Washington Garden of Eden Addition
No. 1
As situated within the SE 1/4 of Section 31, Twp. 24 N. ,
Range 5 .E. , W.M.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: That the 1st day .of August, 1977, at the hour
of 8 : 00 P.M. at the City Council Chambers in the Municipal Building,
Renton, King County, Washington, be and is hereby fixed as the •
time and place when the aforesaid Petition for vacating the aforesaid
portion of street shall be heard and determined_, which said hearing
date is not more than sixty nor less than twenty days from the
date of passage of this Resolution..
SECTION• II: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to give notice of said time and hearing as provided by RCW 35 . 79.020
and any and/or all persons interested therein orobjecting to
said vacation may then appear and be heard thereon, or they may

file their written objections thereto with the City Clerk at or
prior tothe time of hearing on said, vacation.
SECTION III: The. City Council shall determine, as provided
for in RCW 35.79 .030 as to whether an appraisal shall be :secured
to determine the fair market value of the property sought to be
vacatedas provided for in 'Ordinance No. 2349 and the, amount of
compensation to be paid by the Petitioner-Owners to. the City
for such vacation but which said amount shall not exceed one-half
of theappraisedvalue of thearea tobe vacated.
The. City likewise reservestheright toretain an easement
for public utility and related. purposes.
