CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO, 2151
WHEREAS the City of Renton has previously granted a
franchise to operatecable television business within the City of
Renton to Northwest Cablevision, Inc and Colorcable , Inc, and
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable and beneficial to the
Citythat operations by the Company be 'incorporated under one name,
and
WHEREAS Teleprompter Cable TV, doing business as Northwest
Cablevision, Inca and Colorcable,Inc. has made application through
the office of Cable Communications to the City of Seattle Board
of Public Works .to.consolidate its cable and television activities
in the City of Renton under one corporation known as Northwest Cable-
vision, .Inc. , and
WHEREAS the Office of Cable Communications and the City
of Seattle Board of Public Works have recommended approval of such
request for consolidation, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS ;
SECTION I; The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II; Consent is hereby given to the assignment
from Colorcable,,: Inc. to Northwest Cablevision, Inc,
of the Cable..television_'franch se provided :tha±,.-said
Northwest Cablevision, Inc , within 30 days of the adoption of this
Resolution files with the City Clerk its written acceptance of the
rights and privileges previously conferred by. Ordinance to Colorcable
Inc . , and the terms , conditions and restrictions, thereby imposed.
