CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 2023
WHEREAS the City of Renton has certain equipment as
hereinafter more particularly described, and same being of no further
use or benefit to the City or any of its departments , and there being
no foreseeable requirement for said equipment in the future, and
WHEREAS it is in the best interest of the City and the general
public to dispose of said equipment on the most advantageous terms
available to the City , NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The above facts and recitals are hereby found to
be true and correct in all respects . The Purchasing Agent of the City
of Renton is hereby authorized and directed to dispose of the following
described equipment upon public bid call , to be published as required
by law, to-wit :
1 1968 Ford 4 Dr Sedan No . A-78 Ser No. 8P51F169868
1 1968 Sports Van - No. B-20 Ser No. GE168P147609
1 1969 Ford 4 Dr Sedan No. A-96 Ser No . 9P53Y163959
1 1956 Pulvimixer - No. E-9 Ser No. 972189
1 1970 Mobile Street Sweeper No E-49 Ser No . 420919
and all of said equipment to be sold on a cash basis , without warranty ,
expressed or implied, and all of said sales to be final and conclusive .
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any
irregularities in the form of the bid.
