CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 2030
WHEREAS the City of Renton heretofore called for bid proposals
for the furnishing of demand deposit account and other commercial
banking services required by the City of Renton, all in accordance
with the Call for Bids and the Specifications therefor published,
and
WHEREAS pursuant to said Call, bid proposals were received
and opened on or about March 25, 1976, and
WHEREAS the proposal submitted by. PEOPLES NATIONAL BANK
OF WASHINGTON was thereafter on April 5 , 1976, accepted by the
City Council of the City of Renton as the lowest and most beneficial
offer to the City,
NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY. OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The City. hereby designates Peoples National
Bank of Washington, Renton Branch, to be the demand deposit account
depository for the City. of .Renton for a period of two (2) years ,
or as otherwise specified in the attached Agreement, commencing
as of May 1, 1976.
SECTION' II : The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute the attached Agreement, which is incorporated
herein as if fully set forth, between the City of Renton and Peoples
National Bank of Washington, Renton Branch.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 19thday of April, 1976.
