CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 2034
WHEREAS it is considered to be in the best interest of the
City to establish and maintain a "Policies and Procedures Manual"
in order to provide for a more efficient means of processing,
executing and routing of contracts , agreements , leases , permits ,
ordinances , resolution and miscellaneous legislative or administrative
documents , all as more particularly set forth in said "Manual" ,
NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : That certain "Policies and Procedures Manual"
dated January , 1976 , as prepared by the City Clerk' s office , a true
copy of which is attached hereto , labeled "Exhibit A" , and
incorporated herein as if fully set forth , is hereby established and
adopted as the City' s official "Manual" for the processing, preparing,
routing and executing various contracts , agreements , leases , permits ,
ordinances , resolutions , and sundry legislative or administrative
documents , all as more particularly set forth in said "Manual" .
SECTION II : The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to furnish copies of said "Manual" unto the different Departments of
the City , and each Department Head is hereby directed to acquaint the
employees of his or her Department with said established procedures
and to urge continuous compliance therewith.
