CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO . 2079
WHEREAS the City. of Renton has various lengths of fire
hose as more. particularly described,
and
WHEREAS said hose is very old and of no further use or
benefit to the City and there is no foreseeable requirement for any
of said hose,. and
WHEREAS it is to the best interest of the City to declare such
fire hose surplus and dispose of it in the best and most advantagoues
manner as hereinafter specified, NOW THEREFORE..
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY. COUNCIL OF THE CITY.
OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The aforesaid findings and recitals are hereby
found to be true and correct in all respects .
SECTION II: It is hereby found and determinedthat the
folbwing lengths of fire hose 'are 'no longer needed for any public
use or purpose and there is no foreseeable requirement or need therefor,
and is hereby declared surplus, to-wit:.
10 lengths of 2 1/2" hose (5.00 feet total)
The City' s Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed
to advertise for the sale of the above described hose, upon sealed
bids, and as otherwise provided by law. The City reserves the right
toreject any and all bids and to waiveany irregularities in the form
of the bid. Said hose shall be sold on a cash basis .
SECTION 'III: Said hose shall be sold in its "as is"
anywarrant express or implied, on the part of
