RESOLUTION NO . 1967
WHEREAS it has been determined that GREG THOMPSON , residing
at 13946 147th Place S .E. , Renton , King County, Washington, engaged
in the performance and outstanding service in the rescue of another
human being who was then in great physical danger of being seriously
or even fatally injured from a fire in his home, and
WHEREAS said GREG THOMPSON displayed considerable courage
and determination in rescuing said person by pulling him from the
burning building and Employing good judgment in smothering the
flames that then engulfed such other person, and
WHEREAS the City of Renton is extremely proud and well-
pleased with the performance of said GREG THOMPSON on or about
March 4 , 1975 , NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON , AS FOLLOWS.:
SECTION I : The City of Renton, Washington, hereby extends
its congratulations and commendation to
GREG THOMPSON, 13946 147th Place S .E. , Renton, Wn.
for his outstanding, brave and unselfish service in the rescue of
one DOUG FARNAN at 518 Burnett Street , Renton , King County, Washington
on March 4 , 1975 .
