CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO . 1985
WHEREAS the Washington State Department of Public Health
heretofore adopted certain administrative code regulations pertaining
to a protuibition of smoking tobacco in certain public places , and
WHEREAS the City Council deems it to be in the best interest
of the public and for the general welfare that no smoking be
permitted in the Council Chambers at any time, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTTON I : Smoking in the City of Renton Council Chambers
is hereby prohibited at any time. The City Clerk is hereby
authorized to cause appropriate signs to be posted within, at or
near the Council Chambers to advise the public of such prohibition.
