CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 1913
WHEREAS the City of Renton has within the Equipment Rental
Fund thirteen (13) vehicles which have been replaced with new
equipment during the past few months , and
WHEREAS it is in the best interest of the City to declare,
said :.vehidles; surplus , and to dispose of them in the best and
most advantageous manner to the City of Renton, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON, WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I.: The aforesaid recitals and findings are hereby
found to be true and correct in all respects .
SECTION II : It is hereby found and determined that the following
vehicles are no longer needed for any public use or purpose and there
is no foreseeable requirement or need therefor, and all of said items
are hereby declared surplues , to-wit :

The City 's Purchasing Agent is authorized and directed to advertise
for the sale of the abovedescribed vehicles , upon sealed bids , and
as otherwise provided by law. The City reserves the right to reject
any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the form of the bid.
All vehicles shall be sold on a cash basis..

SECTION III: All of such chicles shall be sold in their
"as is" condition without any warranty, express or implied , on the
part of the City of Renton.
