CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTIO N 1946

WHEREAS the City of Renton is the owner of a certain
dwelling unit located on portions of property hereinafter described,
which said property had been acquired from the OLYMPIC PIPE LINE
COMPANY, INC. , pursuant to AGREEMENT dated July 23, 1974, and
WHEREAS it is in the best interest of the City to declare
said dwelling surplus and to dispose of it in the best and most
advantageous manner to the City of Renton, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY TH� MAYOR AND TI�E CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RLNTON, WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The aforesaid findings and recitals are hereby
found to be true and correct in all respects .
SECTION II: It is hereby found and determined that that
certain dwelling unit located on the following described property,
to-wit :
See EXHIBIT "A” attached, incorporated herein as if
fully set forth.
is no longer needed for any public use or purpose and that there is
no foreseeable need or requirement for said dwelling and same should
be disposed of in the most beneficial manner to the City of Renton.
SECTIOPd III : The City' s Purchasing Agent is hereby
authorized and directed to call for bids for the dismantling and
removal of said dwelling unit from the above described property. In

the event however that any such bids are excessive in cost, then in

any such event the Fire Department of the City of Renton is
authorized to provide, as a training measure, for the removal of
said dwelling unit and further provided that the Fire Department �',
will secure, in a timely manner, proper permits for such fire I
exercise.
