HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1836 a�� o t� ' L ,� �` `.' ` ~ • � CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON R: . •` . . �. � °, �" RESOLUTION N0. 1836 � WHEREAS a Petition hat; heen filed witi� the City Cler3c �f the City of Renton on. or about Nov:. 2.4,1972petitioning for the vacation of a portion ' of'_ a,.- certain alley as hereinafter more particularly deseribed and said Petition having been signed by the owners of more than two-thirds of the property owners abutting upon the portion of said alley sought to be vacated, same being described as follows : SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT N0�1 THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY T�?E MAYOR Ar1D THE CITY COUNCSL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, G�IASHINGTON, AS FOLLOt�IS : SECTION I: That the 5'� day of Feb. 1973 at the hour of 8 p,M.at the City Council Chambers in the City Hall, Rerton9 t�ashington, be and is hereby fixed as the time and place when the aforesaid Petition for vacating the aforesaid portion of alley shall be heard and determined. SECTION II : The City Clerlc is hereby authorized and directed to give notice of said time and hearing as provided by law, and any and all persons interested therein or objecting to said vacation may then appear and be heard thereon9 or they may file their written objections thereto with the City Clerk prior to or at the tir�e of the hearing on said vacation. The City Council shall determine , at or prior to any such public hearing9 as to whether an appraisal shall be secured to de�termine the fair market value of the property sought to be vacated as provided for in Ordinance No. 23�g and the City may likewise retain an easement for public utility and related purposes.
