CITY OF R�NTON, WASHINGTON I
RESQLUTION NQ . 1838
WHEREAS there will be submitted to the voters residing
within the boundar�,es of the Renton School District No. 403
' a levy proposal to be voted upon on March 13 , 1973 , and
WHEREAS it has been determined that the funds from such
levy are urgently needed and required to maintain basic present
�a^ograms , provi.de for pro�er and reasonable salary requirements, ''
and for the continuati,on, maintenance and improvement of various I
�ragrams for the benefit of all the students attending Renton
Schools , and
WHEREAS it has been determined that the total cost of all �,
the foregoing would be i.n the sum of $3 ,272 ,431 .00 , thus , according
�- to law, requiring a levy of $5 ,977 ,043 ,00 , now therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR �ND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTZON I: The above firidings and recitals are hereby
found to be true and correct in a1:-1 respects . �
SECTION II: The City of Renton hereby urges all of its
ci,�izens to support and lend their assistance to a successful
passage of the above mentioned levy so as to protect our continuing
investment in our school system and basic educational needs of our
children.
