k�ESOLUTTQN N0 . 1860
WHEREAS the City of Renton has a. certain Ford picku� truck
as hereinafter more particularly deseribed, and
WHEREAS said pickup truck is of no further use and benefit
to the City and there is no foreseeable requi.rement for said vehicle ,
and
�nTHEREAS - it is to the best interest of the City to declare
such pickup truck surplus and dispose of it in the best and most
advantageous manner as hereinafter speci.fied, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTQN, WASHZNGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The aforesaid findings and recitals are hereby
found to be true and correct in all respects .
SECTION II: It is hereby found and determined that that
certain 1964 Ford 3/4 ton pickup truck, Serial No. F25CR513560 , known
as Vehicle No. 8 , is no longer needed for any public use or purpose
and there is no foreseeable requirement or need therefor, and said item
is here,by declared surplus .
The Ci.ty's Purchasing Agent is authorized and directed to
adverti.se for the sale of the abovedescribed vehicle , upon sealed bids ,
and as otherwise provided by law. The City reserves the right to reject
any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the form of the bid.
Said vehicle shall be sold on a cash basis .
SECTION IZI: Said pickup truck shall be sold in "as is"
condition without any warranty , express or implied, on the part of the
City of Renton. The net amount upon s.uch sale ta be placed into the
Fi.re Department Fund for purchase of another vehicle.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 4th day of Ju e, 1973 .
