CTTY OF RENTON, WASHTNGTON
RESOLUTION N0 . 1881
[nIHEREAS , R.C.4T. 43 . 80 provides for a Fiscal Agent for
the State of Washi.ngton, whose services are also available to all
other municipal treasurers in the State, .at no cost to the
municipa].ity; and
WHEREAS , the State Finance Committee did appoint the I
National Bank of Commerce of Seattle to act as such F�,scal Agent for
the State of [nTashington , effective April 8 , 1971; and
WHEREAS ,taking advantage of the availability of this
service would relieve the Director of Finance ' s office of many
clerical duti.es and details surrounding the paym.ent and. verification,
o� bonds and coupons , as well as p�oviding storage space fox said
pai.d bonds and coupons Csince the above-cited RCW also provides for
the cremation after one year of paid bonds and coupons) ; and
WHEREAS , the City of Renton is in favor of uti.l�zing
the above procedures , NOFnI THEREFORE ,
BE TT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CTTY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF RENTON, as follows :
l. The Director of Finance , City of Renton, be and is
hereby autho.rized to avail herself of the above �nenti,oz�ed sex�vi_ces
and to proceed in the manner presecribed by the provisions o�
RCW 43 . 80 .
