RESOLUTION NO. 1885 ' ' '
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT AND INSTALL
WATER MAINS, SE4VER LINES AND APPURTENANCES THERETO,
CURBS, GUTTERS AND STREET PAVING ON ABERDEEN AVE. N.E.
BETWEEN N. E. 27th AND N.E. 28th, RENTON, WASHINGTON
AND TO CREATE A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO ASSESS
THE COST AND EXPENSE OF SAID IMPROVEMENT AGAINST THE
PROPERTIES IN SUCH DISTRICT SPECIALLY BENEFITED
THEREBY; NOTIFYING ALL PERSONS WHO MAY DESIRE TO
OBJECT TO SAID IMPROVEMENT TO APPEAR AND PRESENT
THEIR OBJECTIONS AT A MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
TO BE HELD ON JANUARY 21, 1974.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEiE CITY OF
RENTON, WA:SHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.:; That it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Rento n, Washington, to construct and install the following
water mains, sewer lines and appurtenances thereto, curbs , gutters and
street paving, in the following described area of the City, to wit:
l. (a) Description of Local Improvement District #282

Lake Washington Garden of Eden Division No. 4 as per
plat recorded in Vol. 11 page 82 Records of King Co unty,
Washington described as follows:
_ East 100 feet of tract 259 together with the westerly 1/2
of tract 239 less portion lying easterly of a line be-
ginning on southerly margin said tract 239 at a point 55 ft .
easterly from southwest corner tract 239 thence northerly
' to a point 120 feet south of the north line and 62 feet
east from west line said tract 239.

Street Improvements
This Resolution is in support of that certain "Petition for Creation of
a Local Improvement District" filed with the City Clerk on or about
November 7 , 1973 and subject to the cost limitations per front foot as
specified therein.

There shall be included in the foregoing the acquisition and
installation of all necessary valves , fittings, couplings, connections ,
equipment and appurtenances , and the acquisition of any easements,
rights-of-way and land that may be required; and there shall further
be included the performance of such work as may be incidental and
' necessary to the for�going construction and installation.
The City Council may, in its discretion, modify and amend the
details of the foregoing described improvement, including the financing
thereof, where in its judgment it appears advisable , provided such
modifications and amendments do not substantially alter the genera.l
plan of said improvement project . All of the foregoing shall be in
accordance with the plans and specifications therefor to be prepared
by the City Engineer of the. City of Renton.
SECTION II : The entire cost and expense of said improvement9

be borne by and assessed against the property specially benefited by
such improvement to be included in the local improvement district to be
established embracin as near as ma be all ro ert s eciall benefited

by such improvement . There shall be included in the cost and expense of
said improvements all cost items specified in RCW 35 .44 . 020 . The total cost
and assessment shall be subject to cer-�ain limitations as .to c t er front

i.mprovement herein described are hereby notified to appear and present
such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall , Renton, Washington, at 8 : OOP.M.
on January 21, 1974 � Which time and place are hereby fixed
for hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvement and all
objections thereto and for determining the method of payment for said
improvement. The City Clerk shall give notice of said hearing and
said proposed improvement as required by law.

representative , is hereby directed to submit to the City Council,
on or before the aforesaid hearing date , all data and information
required by law to be submitted.
